Hi Deborah, Hope I didn't misunderstand your comment - there is a connection, Nora Bateson is Gregory's daughter, though not Margaret Mead's. Gregory Bateson and Margaret Mead were married until around 1950 (I think). Nora was born in 1979, and her mother was Gregory's third wife, Lois Cammack. Nora writes extensively on what she calls Warm Data, inspired by her father's writings, among others.
